Boat Lifts
Kayak, jet ski, cruiser, yacht — rated up to 40,000 lbs. Factory-trained, licensed Magnum Boat Lifts installer.
Why A Lift
Get Your Boat Out Of The Water
A boat lift does more than convenience — it protects your hull from marine growth, electrolysis, and storm surge. Boats stored on lifts last longer, require less bottom maintenance, and are ready to launch in minutes instead of hours.
We install kayak lifts, jet ski lifts, cradle lifts, elevator lifts, and floating lifts rated from a few hundred pounds up to 40,000 lbs. Every installation is spec'd to your hull, your slip, and your water depth — not a catalog.

Common Questions
Boat Lift FAQ
What brand of boat lifts do you install?
We are a factory-trained, licensed installer of Magnum Boat Lifts and also install and service other major marine lift brands. The specific brand and model depend on your boat weight, slip dimensions, water depth, and exposure. We recommend the best fit during the site visit — not before.
How much does a boat lift cost?
Most lifts run between $5,000 and $50,000 installed, depending on capacity, lift type, and site conditions. A jet ski or kayak lift sits at the low end; a 40,000 lb yacht lift with reinforced pilings sits at the high end. We give you a firm written quote after the site visit — no phone-call ballparks.
Can a boat lift be added to my existing pier?
In many cases, yes. We inspect your existing pilings and framing to confirm they can support the additional load. If reinforcement is needed, we include that in the scope. Some older structures may need replacement rather than retrofit.
How long does a boat lift installation take?
Smaller lifts can go in in a single day. Larger or more complex installs typically take 2–5 days once the pilings and framing are in place. If we are building a new pier as part of the project, the lift goes in during the final phase of construction.
Do boat lifts require permits in Maryland?
Yes. A state permit is required, and county requirements may vary. We handle the full permitting process, including drawings, applications, and coordination with MDE on your behalf.
What maintenance does a boat lift need?
Routine maintenance includes cable inspection, gear lubrication, and belt and pulley checks. We recommend a service in spring before the season starts and another in fall after haul-out. We can provide annual maintenance packages or walk you through the process during handoff.
Will my boat lift work in winter?
Most Chesapeake Bay lift owners remove their boats before freeze season. The lift itself stays in the water year-round. We install ice-eater systems on request to protect pilings and the lift from ice damage.
